Stop the world! Someone on the Megaman Outpost forum said he's from Japan ... but ... (dramatic bonging on piano) ... he hates it there, and he wants to move to ... (another dramatic bong) ... Canada?

I thought Japan was Neo Eden. Aw, don't get me wrong. I'm not a Japan-basher. In fact, it's #1 on my list of Places I'd Love To Visit. Keep in mind it's a very short list, fitting of a homesticking Cancer.

But could I live in Japan? A young white female gaijin? I don't think they cater to my bracket. If I had to move out of Canada, I think I'd choose ... Austrailia. Maybe Ireland, since I have a lot of relatives there I could leech off.

I already bitched about this on my forum, but one cannot perform enough bitching. Some silly twit of a rapper took one of my favourite songs, Dream On (also known as Sing) by Aerosmith and sandwiched the chorus between his shitty rap verses and garnished it all with several leafs of "fuck the police", etc.

Well, there's good rap and there's bad rap, just as there's good and bad of anything else. Except for most Guns n Roses songs, I get really tired of music that insists on using the F word every two chords. Most rap does exactly that, so it's all garbage in my book.

But there is some stuff worth talking about out there. I guess they can't be considered a rap group really, but I'm very fond of Snow.

So I guess I won't bother turning this into a rant on the piles of bad rap music out there since 99% of websurfers despise the stuff, and are only too glad to express their disgust. Oh what the hell, I've got time.

I find it hard to disagree with Lexiroth's attitude on the whole deal ... it's a lot easier to yell 'fuck the police' when you're behind your burly harem of bodyguards and dull fans who find it simpler to listen to your view on the world being thumped out of their car radios instead of picking up a newspaper.

It all sounds the same to me ... that's my biggest problem. Some gangsta is rappin' about shit in the 'hood while someone rolls a soft drumbeat and/or dings a triangle in the background. Sometimes extra channels are occupied by a woman singing softly alongside her man.

Some contest that rap is "all about the lyrics." Yeah, remember the days when artists used to write great lyrics and wreath it all in beautiful music? Gosh, that was swell.

New picture, as if you couldn't see for yourself. :) I moved X and Zero to the "Older Entries" page, so don't sorrow. I went for a Castlevania theme this time, III to be exact. That's Trevor and Sypha up there. Yep, Sypha's a girl, as was revealed at the end. Shocked the hell out of me, too. I guess it was another one of those "Samus" things, but everyone knows no one's as cool as Samus.

See, at the end of the game, Sypha's lovely blonde hair spills out of her robe. I don't know if Trevor knew her gender or not, but I'm going to say 'no' because it makes the ending that much funnier. As soon as her hair's loose, Trevor just throws his arm around Sypha. Just like that. "WOO! FEMALE! BRING DOWN AND PORK!"

Actually, the new GBA Castlevania coming out stars Juste, who is supposedly the son of Sypha and Trevor. "Juste." I love that name. Juiced for Jesus.
