Well, they are a damn good team, Carolina. And the Leafs did damn, damn good considering the odds. Hell, they beat Ottawa when they were nothing more than a pack of lepers dropping bits of themselves all over the ice. So there's nothing to be ashamed of. Listen to me, uttering the mating call of the Loser.

At least we still got our Double Gold, w00! :D And David'd better be careful around my mother from now on.

Fun with Megaman Outpost! A lot of folks were curious as to whether or not the bloody hacking would remain intact in the American version of Megaman Zero. Thanks to the reports of nice people from Lex's site, knowledge was obtained:

Lovely news for blood-drinkers... I have an aquaintence at E3 who played Megaman Zero (quite by accident) and he says all the gore seems intact. :)

Oil can be red and purple is a fruit.

Actually, that last bit holds water. I've been hanging around the Castlevania Dungeon which listed evidence found in Castlevania Legends that the first Belmont, Sonia, flung whoopie with everyone's favourite dhampire. So there's a good strong dose of vampire in the Belmonts' root water. There's a potent snip of videogame irony for ya.

I received Toastyfrog 'Zine 4 today, addressed accurately to "Nadia Oxford, Eisner, Whatever." There was my article. 'tis the second time I've seen anything I've written in print. Sniff. I need to try publication more often. Getting paid to write would be nice. Better than busting my legs sweeping mall floors.

Speaking of which, I'm going to seriously try to lose weight. It's inched up quite a bit when I wasn't looking. Not to palm off the blame, but I think my thyroid might be a little slow. We honestly don't eat much, David and I, and I eat a lot less junk than he does. I'm just gonna cut it off entirely, but getting tested won't hurt since there's a history of messed up thyroids in my family. My mom had a tumour on hers and got it removed entirely.

I should stop taking money to work, too. That always helps in case I'm tempted to buy crap.

The Leafs tied game six in the last twenty seconds and we're going into overtime. My mind is elsewhere.
