I put up a small blurb linking my livejournal account to this one. See, I have a profile there, but I only use it to comment on others' journals. I don't much care for Livejournal's setup or its self-indulgant "Mood" emoticons and "What Music I'm Listening To As If You Gave a Shit" field. It's great if you want a journal to talk about your daily life. I read tons of journals like that, and they're good. But from day one, I mainly wanted my blog to be a place to rant about cogs and togs. I don't think anyone could muster up the "whee" to care about me driving to the store and petting a dog.

LiveJournal isn't a total washout for me, though. It hosts the journals of many important representitives of our century:

See how important Livejournal is? If Ronald didn't vent his frustrations over ignorant customers' beliefs that he's not a drug addict (how could people be so stupid), I bet our Quarter Pounders just wouldn't be as tasty, or give us such a potent buzz.

I officially delcare today to be Pipey Rocks day. In celebration of my 11111 hits, she gave me two lovely pieces of fanart. I should be fair and make people wait 'till the next page update until I post 'em, but who said life is fair.

I especially love that Red. So soft and touchable. Pipey said her paint program has issues with Genesis, though, so she couldn't get that to me. :( I'd love to see that one.

On the greedy topic of fanart (wasn't I just talking about self-indulgance?), is anyone out there interested in drawing Jake, Celeste's father? For some reason, that scrambled, submissive lifeform is one of my favourite characters ever, and I so rarely am ever given art with his sad Irish face on it. He's cameo'ed on art pieces by such lovely pencil-people like Tabby and Amp, and Bobcat did a very nifty back-view of him in her portion of the BNF manga. Other than that, I haven't seen very much. So if you want to make me a happy Reddy and you're unwilling to lasso Marth, that's way #1.
